The warmer and longer days are upon us and I am loving them! I hope you are well and finding ways to feed your spirit. I'm learning how to row on the Willamette River in the early mornings, and the fresh air and cool waters are so invigorating!

There’s a new Lucente Skye songs out in the world today:

Listen to Grateful by Lucente Skye (my artist name for solo piano songs).

"Grateful" is designed to assist with gratitude mindfulness practice.  As you listen, try to hear the word "grateful" in the melody, and think about all the things in your life that you are thankful for.

The photo in the artwork is one of my favorite waterfalls in the Columbia River gorge, LaTourell.  For me, a waterfall really captures how gratitude can just splash in to your mind and calm down feelings of discontent or negativity.  Gratitude can exist side-by-side with our struggles, providing just the right balance when we need it.  Yin/Yang goodness.

Recent Highlights:

It was a blast performing last month with the Portland Chamber Orchestra on Mother’s Day. And it’s always a treat to sing in the Reser Center!

Also it was so wonderful to perform again with the Oregon Symphony Lullaby Project. What an honor to create a lullaby with a parent at Path Home, and then perform it with these amazing players from the symphony.

My Patreon community keeps growing!  This is where I share new music exclusively, more in-depth stories behind the songs, special concert invitations, and behind-the-scenes things.  All are welcome.  :)

As always, I love hearing from you - if you come to a show, please come say hi!  And wherever you are, may the music flow and may you find ways to keep your spirits lifted.

Yours in song,

naomi
